Introduction To The Gospel That Belongs To Christ - Part 6

Beloved of God,

I faced a frustration between 1995 and about 2005. I had passionately read the bible over and over but could only relate with the letters and hardly smelt life (the spirit) from it, so I scarcely read the bible until the Spirit of Truth gradually began to help me out on some occasions. One of such verses that we can read religiously for decades is Matt. 16:16-18. In fact, It Is Hard not to Read Matt. 16:16-18 Religiously! The following article is an attempt to shed light on this weighty and blessed verse.

Matt. 16:16-18 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art THE CHRIST, THE SON of the LIVING GOD. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and UPON THIS ROCK I will BUILD MY CHURCH; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it

Later on, I saw that reference to “this Rock” in Matt. 16:18 had to do with on the revelation of Jesus THE CHRIST, the revelation of THE SON and the Manifestation of God (Acts 9:20) and this revelation is the foundation of the true church that would OVERCOME the enemy of the true Church (Ps. 110/1 Cor. 3:11)

Romans chapter 1 therefore lets us to know that THE GOSPEL is the storehouse of the Revelational materials meant for the building of the true Church (1Cor. 3:10-12). By the Gospel, Apostle Paul does not mean what we call 'a good sermon' or what we easily caress from the book of Matthew to John when we want a solution to our earthly needs, because what we can carnally touch is only an INTRODUCTORY ASPECT OF THE GOSPEL which is different from THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST! The Lord could only declare his gospel in parables until The Spirit of Truth was given after his resurrection.

Apostle Paul KNEW CHRIST IN THE SPIRIT (2Cor. 5:16) and was instrumental to introducing all other disciples that once knew JESUS OF NAZARETH (Acts 10:39) to JESUS THE CHRIST (Acts 2:36). The former, though divinity in humanity, had to firstly attain a stature called Son of Man and was later was MADE (Heb. 1:4) the Son of God. 

The church has carried out vast exploits for generations with knowledge of and the anointing upon the name JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, but we have hardly discerned the Spiritual Technology called Obedience that produced JESUS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, and this is a transition that takes place when the Lord can take us through the process that a grain of Seed embarks on when cast unto the earth and dies (Acts 9:4)

Acts 2:36 … God hath made the same JESUS, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and CHRIST.

It may also interest you to note that Peter didn’t understand the revelation he caught in Matt. 16:16! He only believed it. Many revelations have come our way but we can hardly rightly divide the word of truth to interpret or translate it into life! As an apostle of the milky aspect of God’s word in the early book of Acts, Peter still manifested conversations that fell short of the standard of the gospel in Gal. 2:11/14 and in Acts 10, confirming that he had neither been CONVERTED nor STRENGTHENED (Lk. 22:32). Peter BELIEVED IN THE CHRIST (KNOWN TRUTH) but hadn’t KNOWN THE CHRIST (KNOWN TRUTH) like many believers/ministers today.

Lk. 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and WHEN thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

In like manner, believers who OBEY CHRIST (Heb. 5:9) like the Son obeyed the Father to the uttermost are simply those who would finish their faith course (1Pet. 1:9), attain their new Testament calling unto PRIESTHOOD and become a part of the company called THE BRIDE OF CHRIST/OVERCOMERS, and such are they who would also wear GOD’S GLORY in the world to come in fulfillment of Rev. 21:10-111

Interestingly, believers can never Pray or Fast or Study their way into the Knowledge of Jesus THE CHRIST. We can use that to access knowledge of Jesus of NAZARETH but we in addition to such, we must BE PROCESSED (Jn. 8:32b) by receiving the personalities of the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:17-18/Isa. 11:2) to come into knowing THE CHRIST!

Ps. 110:1 The LORD (i.e. Elohim) said unto my Lord (i.e. Adonai/Christ), Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Summarily, JESUS was the name or authority he was commissioned with in Matt. 1:21 to save his people from their sins. While journeying to fulfill the commission upon that name, he attained The True Prophetic and Kingly Stature of the first Adam called SON OF MAN. He later fully obeyed and pleased the father and attained The New Creation/World To Come Stature of the last Adam wherein he would PERFECT heirs of salvation, i.e. he inherited the stature of The SON OF GOD or THE CHRIST and he continues to reproduce many sons after this order! 1 Cor. 15:45/Heb. 10:1/14

At our current pace,  we would most likely repeat the history of MAKING IT TO HEAVEN which is eternally different from MAKING IT TO THE FATHER (Jn. 13:3)

A key aspect of the Christian faith is about to begin! Worthy seekers and loving inquirers are being raised and we must seek the Christ until we are counted worthy of being his fellows that would be anointed with the oil of gladness (Ps. 45:7/Heb. 1:9).

Things FROM God & Things OF God - Part 5

Dearly Beloved,

Jn. 16:13-14 is a verse of scripture I earnestly desire to comprehend as I ought to. I am a babe when it comes to the experiential knowledge of these verses, but I feel inspired to attempt to scratch its surface while paying homage to it on this subject/series:

Jn. 16:13-14 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and He Will Shew You Things To Come. He shall glorify me: FOR HE SHALL RECEIVE OF MINE, AND SHALL SHEW IT UNTO YOU.

(i.e. the primary ministry of the Holy Spirit is to receive the Things which The Son received after completely obeying the Father, i.e. the THINGS OF GOD, and reveal it to us, not just impart us with the gifts of the Spirit which has even become rare today! Such exalted Things of God are eternally far from what we brand as breakthroughs today and the church must seek them beyond how we sought breakthroughs. The chapters of the bible that gave birth to breakthroughs are far lower than the meals that would enable us understand how to obey or pleas the Father, the toughest profession and privilege given to man!

Heb. 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation

Unto All Them That OBEY HIM

(i.e. Those that would OBEY HIM like He obeyed The father are those that would access His High Priestly ministry that can save a soul to the uttermost! He is exercising a New Ministry (Heb. 8:6) which he inherited when he obtained a More Excellent Name called The Lord our Righteousness –Jer. 33:16/Heb. 1:4), but the Lord cannot engage those who only BELIEVE HIM with that ministry of perfection where the THINGS OF GOD are downloaded! Children or carnal Christians can only relate with a Believing that has to do with Faith Towards God and therefore have access to an aspect of his name/ministry revealed in Matt. 1:21 with privileges detailed in Mk. 16:17/Lk. 13:32, but the use of the word ‘Obedience’ in the epistles has to do with the Faith of The Son and the church, you and I, must subscribe to it without further delay)

Heb. 7:25 Wherefore he is Able also To Save them to The Uttermost that Come

Unto God by Him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

(i.e. the Lord’s current prayer to the father is geared towards the salvation of the souls of believers. What is the prayer of the Church/believers geared unto?)

So believers whom The Father, Son and Spirit would not be ashamed of when they arrive heaven are those that must have tarried and bore FRUIT with the understanding behind Jn. 16:13-14! They must have understood the sweet fellowship of the Holy Ghost far beyond the normal recitation we make with it. They must have known and enjoyed him like they once knew and enjoyed sin during their sojourn in the flesh.

Like the Ephesian church, they must have fulfilled the protocol of BELIEVING IN CHRIST wherein we are rooted in Faith Towards God and Loving ALL Brethren irrespective of their denominational backgrounds or religious inclinations (Eph. 1:15). Then would the Father of Glory have the legal ground to grant such access to the operations of the first pair Spirit, The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation (Eph.1:17/Isa.11:2) whom alone could grant such access to the KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST. Unfortunately, many believers/pastors are stuck between Eph. 1:15A and Eph. 1:15B!

Over the generations, the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil has manifested in the final burial ceremonies of men as confirmed in the inscription of almost all obituary which reads “Call To Glory”, even when such soul has boldly disagreed with the entire bible! Beloved, those who would smell Glory in heaven are those who would engage the narrow path where revelations of truth are harnessed. Their lives must have qualitatively obeyed Jn. 16:13-14 and thereby disobeyed everything that has to do with the wisdom of this world!

The church has partaken of numerous BLESSINGS FROM GOD originating from the Milk of The Word, i.e the exploits of Heb. 6:1-2, but the actual ‘singular’ BLESSING OF GOD can never be accessed by virtue of what we are seeking today, and my concern is that ‘time is going, years is rolling into decades’!

Ps. 24:5 … He shall receive The Blessing (not blessings) from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation

(i.e. such a saint shall receive something from God, which the Lord Loved (Heb. 1:9a) and Received (Heb. 1:9d), which patriarchs like Abraham received, a blessing called RIGHTEOUSNESS, because such soul would have journeyed unto The End of Faith where it would experience the fullness of their salvation -1Pet.1:9)

After some veil rending ministrations weeks back, I just realized that I have only had a shallow understanding of Righteousness after 15 years of passionately seeking to know a mysterious God whose ways are past finding out. I trust the Lord to help us look into why the Righteousness revealed in The New Testament is OF God and not FROM GOD in part 6 of this series or in subsequent editions.
