Dearly Beloved,
I thank the
Lord for 2013, but I earnestly look forward to a 2014 that would be so unlike
2013! Perhaps we both share such intense resolve (Matt. 11:12). I finally saw
the need for a totally new heart!
I perceive the
Lord would still have me tarry around the commitment to share freshly baked
messages by Ministers of His Righteousness with his saints. The following
simple yet timely transcribed message (which I have captioned under a new series
‘Non-Negotiable Counsels of God's Kingdom’) attempts to:
- Highlight the spiritual protocols for receiving an unshakable kingdom which the church today is at the mercy of.
- X-ray heaven’s verdict on the true state of the Laodicean Church (Rev. 3:17) as being poor, blind and naked, while celebrating their material increase and complacency.
- Prepare us for a graceful migration from our present soul state unto that which it totally immune from every cancerous effect of sin and death in these perilous times.
I trust we
would find grace to patiently print/read and share, amen.
Non-Negotiable Counsels of God's Kingdom
- Part 1
Eph.
1:15/17 Wherefore I
also, after I heard of YOUR FAITH in the Lord Jesus, and YOUR LOVE unto all the saints, 1:17
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may GIVE unto you the SPIRIT of WISDOM and REVELATION in the KNOWLEDGE of HIM:
The above
verses highlight Apostle Paul’s prayer for the migration of the Ephesus church
from THEIR THINGS into GOD’S THINGS via KNOWELDGE OF GOD. God
started with them with what their capacity could accommodate and initially blessed
them with a faith and love that was theirs, but God’s intention was to later
bless them with things that are His (Eph. 1:3). A church must first be found
faithful with the initial Faith and Love meals before they can come into that
which is God’s.
By reason of
stature, Apostle Paul as a wise master builder knew the next stage for these
saints and prayed to God that they would be given the Spirit of Wisdom and
Revelation which alone can open the saints up to chapters of Knowledge.
You need to come into a spiritual wisdom that
isn’t in the terrain of man. The Wisdom of Solomon is limited to the roof of
the earth (it cannot pass the sky). It was Jesus that showed us that the lilies
of the field toil not, neither do they spin but Solomon in all his glory was
not arrayed like one of these. If you
are not connecting the wisdom of Jesus Christ, you will not connect to the
purpose for which He came i.e. TO UNVEIL GOD
The key to the
next level is the knowledge OF Him
(not FROM Him). Though the Ephesus
church had walked in faith and love towards all the saints, they were still
spiritually blind (their spiritual eyes were still in the dark – Acts 26:18).
You can move mountains with your faith (Matt.
11:22-23) and you can even give your body to be burnt as a sacrifice of love
(1Cor. 13:3), yet it won’t translate to your soul being saved. So there is a
dimension beyond such accepted order of faith.
Apostle Paul
was actually bringing a blessing to the church of Ephesus via his prayers. He
wanted them to come into God’s world (God’s judgement), which is a dire need of
the church today. We must move from men’s
things into God’s things (2Cor.
5:17). It is not easy to move into
things which are of God. It requires thorough patience. Even though our
human spirit is new, God does not start us with his things, but rather with the
things we can relate with, the milky aspect of the word - I Cor. 3:2 ‘I have
fed you with MILK (believing)
because you are carnal; i have not fed you with STRONG MEAT (knowledge).’
A CHILD OF GOD CAN BE CARNAL BUT THAT DOES NOT
MEAN SUCH A PERSON IS A CHILD OF SATAN. BEING CARNAL MEANS GOD CAN’T SPEAK TO
SUCH AS UNTO SPIRITUAL BECAUSE HE HASN’T ENCOUNTERED THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND
REVELATION
Despite the zealous faith of the
Ephesian church (which is uncommon today), they still didn’t know what the Hope of God’s calling was. Some
Christians think the reason they are born again is to go to heaven but that is
not the reason. If it were so, Jesus would have taken us to heaven the day we
got born again! Rather, Jesus prayed to His Father in John 17:15 “I pray not
that thou should take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them
from the evil.”.
The hope of
the gospel (in the epistles) is not man’s hope and you need to be moved from your things to His things to experience it. You must engage it in the next level
where you would KNOW what the riches of His inheritance is and also KNOW the
exceeding greatness of His power. Some
believers today, like the Ephesian
Church, have experienced the faith and love of Eph. 1:15 but haven’t known His
Glorious Eternal Power (Rom. 1:16&20/Col. 1:11). God has and exercised
a power that He doesn’t just share with anyone, though he desires to do so with
us like he did with Jesus.
The issue of God
coming to us synonymous with receiving
of His things which is the issue of His kingdom revealed. In Matt.
6:9-13 (the Disciples Prayers not the Lord’s Prayer), you would notice everything is in the adjective
form ‘YOUR’ and not ‘OUR’, because everything He wants us to
come into is His (i.e. Thine is the Kingdom, Power, Glory). Moving us from OURS
to THINE (His) is THE HISTORY OF
CHRISTIANITY.
God’s design
for the church and for our gathering together is that we transit from Our Things to His Things, from Our Life
to His Life, from Our Power to His Power, from Our Love to
His Love. HE WANTS US TO DROP ANYTHING
OF OURS, FROM OUR HOPE TO HIS HOPE. Hope is the reason why we live; it is
our dream. God will have to show you His
Dream which is His Will and this
can never be sighted except our eyes are opened (Eph. 1:17).
In Col. 1:9,
we can see that you cannot know the WILL
OF GOD except you access the KNOWLEDGE OF THAT WILL which is the PROGRAMME OF HIS KINGDOM. The knowledge
of His will in Col. 1:9 is the same as the knowledge of Him in Eph. 1:17. THE WILL IS ACTUALLY THE OPERATING MANUAL
OF GOD’S DOMINION.
WHEN
YOU ARE WORLDLY IN YOUR MIND, YOU WON’T UNDERSTAND GOD’S WILL AND WHEN YOU MISS
THE WILL OF GOD, YOU WILL MISS THE KINGDOM.
The world is a
product of Satan’s will (Jn. 14:30) and has been designed as a program for
mankind to carry out on earth. It’s so powerful that after it has moulded you,
you will not be fit for the will of God.
Rom. 12:1 wisely counsels us to ‘… present
your bodies a living sacrifice by the MERCIES of God’ because, if you don’t get
your body, you won’t get your mind because the body and the mind
work together. It is through these mercies (plural) that bodies can be made
holy and alive. Mercy means is not by power or might. If it is done by you, it
won’t make you live in his sight.
The mind is
the upper part of the soul that works with the flesh and hijacks men. That is
why Satan is also interested in that mind. If he can get you from your mind (the
window of the soul), then he can get your whole soul. But if you can wash the
mind with pure water (revealed
truth), your body would be clean and presentable
When you renew your mind by the washing
of the water of the word (Jn. 17:17), you will be equipped to prove that
ACCEPTABLE, GOOD and PERFECT WILL OF GOD and this is where many people
unfortunately missed it!
When
the service of presenting your bodies has be done; then you will not be able to
conform to this world.
THE
WORLD IS PRIMARILY DESIGNED TO STOP YOU FROM DISCERNING WHAT THE WILL OF GOD
IS. WE CAN HAVE CHURCH AND REMAIN WORLDLY.
We need
circumcision in the spirit of our mind (Eph. 4:23) and it will take mercies for
us to know what God’s will is. The world has a show of goodness and distorts
our judgement of good and evil. Right from childhood Jesus was taught the will
of God. He knew what to do with the entity call man.
In reality, there is no life outside the will of
God, so when you live outside the will of God and you live your life, you have actually wasted your humanity. We are
supposed to sow this humanity (Jn. 12:24) into God’s will so that we can reap a
dominion that is beyond human comprehension; i.e. reap the kingdom.
There
is no place on earth that can show us the will of God. The true church is the
greatest thing that has happened to mankind. Its the centre of God’s light,
where light ought to be dispensed so man can escape the world and come into the
will of God.
Jesus in Heb. 10:7 and Luke 18:31 talked about the
book of God’s will, the volume of the book. When we came to the earth, the
volume of the book was hanging on us and the new birth provision is only an
empowerment to knowing what is written in that book, so it’s not enough to be
born again. Those that get born again or come to the Lord Jesus have been
mandated to find eternal life and live it out.
The volume of the book is the key and entrance to
the will of God because it is actually the summation of God’s will for us. This
book is above sacrifices and offerings and if you want to sacrifice unto God,
live after the revelations of this will, because such is the sacrifice that
pleases God.
If
you want to please God locate the will. I am not talking about your talent or
inmate ability for our earthly survival. Your talent can’t go beyond the grave
and anything you can’t take beyond this realm is too low.
Man is an
eternal being that must discover his eternal purpose. The original purpose of
man is not to carnally manifest anything here on earth (Gen. 1:28). Natural courses
should not define us and we shouldn’t rest here because it’s too weak to carry
our eternal calling. You are an eternal being who must find God’s purpose and
the only place you can get it is in the temple where the eternal scrolls are
kept. You have to come into the temple (Ps. 27:4) where you would DESIRE and DISCOVER the PURPOSE called
ONE THING
Ps.
27:4
On thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in
the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the
LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
God will make
the job easier when he has raised scribes after that will, who would bring
forth great light. God wants to help humanity and is going to do so by raising
ministers who have known and will show his will.
