Dearly Beloved,
We feed our bodies with what we call ‘food’ today
(Adam can tell better), but we have a poor commitment to feeding our souls with
the bread of the kingdom (Matt. 4:4/Jn. 6:33).
At our present
pace, our souls cant end up siting (Rev. 3:21/1Tim. 6:12) like
our regenerated spirit is seated with Christ (Eph. 2:6) because
our present spiritual meals cant empower us to obey the faith of Christ (Rom.
1:5b/Gal. 2:20/1Jn. 5:4) and thereby disobey the corrupted angelic faith that
became sin (Eze. 28:15)
The enemy knows this more than not a few folks today
and continues to subtly limit us via the art of taking thought for
our lives which runs contrary to Gods Faith (Matt. 6:25)
The
following transcribed message runs contrary to the emphasis of adulterated
Christianity and courageously celebrates the faith that was once handed down to
the saints (Jude vs 3). Who can receive it (Matt. 19:12)?
Non-Negotiable
Counsels of God's Kingdom - Part 3
Scriptural Reading: Matt. 6:22-23 The light of
the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be
full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of
darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that
darkness!
It is not easy for our eyes to be
single but if God grants you mercy, you will discern and agree with the above
verse. We unknowingly argue with the things of the kingdom, especially Jesus’
statements.
The body Jesus was referring to in this
passage is not a physical body but that of the soul. What Jesus taught about
the singleness of eye was the same thing with the teaching of the enlightening
of the eyes of our understanding (Eph. 1:17)
You
have to understand the complex message of Apostle Paul to be able
to understand the simple statement of Jesus. Jesus was a
master of revelation. He had mastery with words and was also poetic in nature.
While we ministers are still growing in utterance, Jesus had the stature for
utterance. Utterance is the ability to see clearly and to be able to describe
it.
To attain a single eye as a child of
God, you must seek one thing (Ps. 27:4) and to do so, you must
experience the deliverance from the power of darkness that Paul made reference
to in Acts 26:18. SATAN SHOWS US MANY THINGS TO SCATTERS OUR SIGHT
(JUDGEMENT) BUT GOD SHOWS US ONE THING TO MAKE OUR SIGHT SINGLE BY.
The eye must never be pluralized; it
must just be one and that was what He did to Adam. But Satan kept braking and
scattering man’s focus over time until man couldn’t press into God’s eternal
purpose and men entered into darkness. Man now uses a kind of light called
darkness (Matt. 6:23/Jn. :19)). Satan propagates a light which is actually
darkness. He tells us how to see and that is how he darkens. He shows us
‘light’ and we take it for life and men die thereby.
Few ministers know Satan who once had
mastery of wisdom and completeness before he fell (Eze. 28:12) and had a touch
of perfection (Eze. 28:15a) in all he did. You can cast out demons but cannot
cast out Satan. You can only wrestle (Eph. 6:12) with him after attaining a
priestly spiritual stature and putting on the whole armor of God. He can fill a
Christian that has the Holy Ghost inside him, like he filled the hearts of
Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1–5).
What man pursues as light/dominion is
actually Satan’s concept. He brought out a concept to keep us busy so that we
can lose the seeking of God’s life. Jesus therefore said “it is possible for
the light in you to be turned to darkness” (Matt. 6:23”. It will take great
mercies for us to reject evil. You must have come into a superior judgment
through the spirit of wisdom and revelation.
From
Mathew 6:24, we can see that service begins from how we see. Jesus tied
service and worship of God to sight. All that Jesus was actually breaking down
in this passage was the formations of the enemy in the souls of men. Satan has
tied man’s life to things (where he has an advantage) so man’s allegiance would
always be to him. He stays behind things and anointed mammon to control things
Mathew 6:25 Therefore I
say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more
than meat, and the body than raiment?
Anytime
such message is being taught, fear harasses believers. While taking thought for
things and we ask God for such thing, God will give us those things as a
compromise because of our level, so he doesn’t lose us. So God waits for us to
come to a level where you would be separated from such earthly thoughts. BEFORE
YOU CAN ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM, YOU HAVE TO OVERCOME THE PROGRAMME OF TAKING
THOUGHT. What Satan uses to hinder us are the legitimacies of our life
which Jesus called the cares of this world (Mark 4:19)
You need the grace of God to obey this
commandment. You cannot discern a Pharisee if you don’t have spiritual eye
(Matt. 5:20). They were so holy in the face of Israel who couldn’t find any
fault in them. It took someone like Jesus and John the Baptist to discern them
(Matt. 3:7/12:34). We need help to be able to set our righteousness aside and
to pursue the righteousness of the kingdom.
In
Mark 11:23–24, we see a type of faith taught to carnal believers that says; ‘If
you do not believe or have faith, you will not receive’, but in Matt. 6:23–30,
Jesus went far further and taught the operation of another faith that says
‘don’t even think of such things (i.e. food, shelter and clothing). It sounds
like these verses contradict each other but that’s not the case. These are
expressions of faith towards God and the faith of the Son respectively
Because
men were of little faith, they could only relate with a higher principle of
faith towards God that emphasized ‘believe it, confess it and claim it’
which won’t work when it comes to the issue of inheriting the kingdom.
THE TEACHING OF FAITH TOWARDS GOD DEALS WITH OUR EARTHLY NEEDS WHILE THE
TEACHING OF THE FAITH OF THE SON DEALS WITH OUR ETERNAL NEEDS/THE KINGDOM. (Mk.
11:23-24/Matt. 6:25–31)
IF
YOU REMAIN IN THE LEVEL OF ‘OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH’ (MATT. 6:30), THE OPERATION
OF THE FAITH IN MARK 11 VS 23 WOULD BE APPLICABLE BUT YOU NEED THE OPERATION OF
GOD’S FAITH IN MATT. 6:25/GAL. 2:20 FOR ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE KINGDOM. THE
OPERATION OF ‘OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH’ DEALS WITH THINGS BUT NOT WITH THE
KINGDOM. MANY COMMON MESSAGES THAT ARE THINGS RELATED ARE NOT FOR THE
KINGDOM/DOMINION.
When you are looking for the dominion
of the kingdom, you have to forget about yourself and look unto Jesus, the real
prototype of man. Jesus was saying ‘if you want to go higher, forget about how
you will clothe yourself and what you will eat’, because that thought in itself
would ensnare you.
There is something about God; He deals
with you at the level you want to operate with Him. If you want to remain in
the realm of oh ye of little faith, you will be there but forget about the
issue of the kingdom. The issue of the kingdom is not what you will be forced
to enter into; it has to do with your choice.
If
the dominion of God comes down into Christianity and becomes the order of the
day, messages from most pulpits will change. The pursuit of Christianity will
also change globally and the emphasis of Christian books would change.
There was a rich young ruler who had
used faith towards God to prosper legally. He ruled by the power of things but
Jesus ruled supernaturally. He relied on things but Jesus lived without such
things, so he marveled that Jesus lived one day at a time!
You
should be free like a bird that don’t sow nor reap. You should be free like the
lilies of the valley that do not have a sense of gathering. If you check how
Adam survived in garden, you will discover that he was not thinking of
tomorrow. It was sin that brought such thoughts. He had absolute faith in
the Father. When he was created, he met storage and provision. He was not
raised to fend for himself.
Bless
You!
