Things FROM God & Things OF God - Part 9

Dearly Beloved,

We previously deduced that righteousness is the kingly nature of God through which he governs. Righteousness is the scepter of His Kingdom; Righteousness and Justice are the habitations of God’s throne (Heb 1:8/Psalm 9:8)

In every throne that reigns under God, whether they be thrones, powers and dominions (Eph. 1:21/Col. 1:16); righteousness is inherent. These subordinate thrones or kings under God reign because they have a kind of righteousness which is FROM Him, though not the exact righteousness OF God which is the exclusive preserve of Deity. Without righteousness, there is no kingdom or throne, and every throne that operates without the configuration of righteousness usurps God’s authority and such is reserved for the wrath of God.

The angelic realm is made up of kingdoms under God, but none of these angelic kingdoms is in the kingdom which is OF God, because God’s kingdom is the realm of Deity. ANGELS ARE IN HEAVEN BUT NOT IN THE KINGDOM. Angels are created sons of God (Job 38:7/Col. 1:16). They have a kind of righteousness which makes them kingly after the order of their make.

Ps. 103:19 The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all (i.e. angels that are either thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers - Eph. 1:21/Col. 1:16)

INTERESTINGLY, ONLY MAN HAS THE HONOR OF BEING VISITED BY GOD AND OF RECEIVING A CROWN THAT’S HIGHER THAN ALL OF GOD’S CREATION (HEB 2:6-9). THAT CROWN IS THE PRIVILEGE OF BECOMING A BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD (Jam. 1:121Pet. 5:4/Rev. 2:10). SO MAN HAS BEEN CALLED OF GOD TO PARTAKE OF THE GLORIOUS DIVINE NATURE OF DIETY. IT IS BY THE INHETITING OF DIVINE NATURE THAT THE SCEPTER OF GOD’S KINGDOM (RIGHTEOUSNESS) WOULD BE RECIEVED AND THIS HAS BEEN CLEARLY EXEMPLIFIED IN THE PERSON OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO BECAME THE FIRST MAN TO MAKE IT INTO THE KINGDOM; THE FIRSTBEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER (HEB 1:5-8)

Just as angels were made constituted authorities, so was the first man - Adam. However, man in Adam fell from righteousness (of the living soul), and man lost his scepter. God had to move to restore man to righteousness and God succeeded in raising many righteous men after the fall of Adam. Many men were able to swim against the tide of sin, and walk with God through faith, and scriptures call such men kings.

Matt. 13:17 For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men (i.e. Kings – Lk. 10:24) have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

WHEN GOD WANTS TO MAKE A KING, HE LEADS SUCH IN THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (FAITH) AND TEACHES HIM TO LOVE RIGHTEOUSNESS. RIGHTEOUS MEN ARE KINGS WHO JUDGE AND RULE ACCORDING TO THE LIGHT OF THEIR DAY

Righteous men are those who contend with spirits (counterfeit kings) and stay the influence of death over men through a scepter of righteousness. Prophets in the Old Testament were men like Enoch, Noah, Seth, Abel, Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and the like. GOD KEPT ON COMING TO THESE MEN TO TEACH THEM HOW TO STOP SIN FROM REIGNING. Life reigns through the law of righteousness but death reigns through the law of iniquity. (Rom 5:21)

Because of their stature, they were called sons of men (Eph. 3:5) in the Old Testament, and these were the true kings of the earth. They had personal encounters with God and their souls were quickened in degrees, and so God could trust with portions of his divine plan.

Melchizedeck was one of such. He had no earthly descent, was without beginning or ending of days. He was a king of righteousness and king of peace. He walked with God until He was no longer traceable to the earth by reason of a lifestyle patterned after revelations of God.

These men simply typified those in the New Testament who would be made the righteousness OF God in their souls; people who’ll consistently journey with God until the earth loses its grip on them, until they are redeemed from amongst men and from the earth. May we be answer to this need in the seasons ahead, Amen.

Things FROM God & Things OF God - Part 8 (Righteousness OF God Simplified)

You would agree with me that righteousness springs from the nature of God and speaks of His judgments and standards. God is righteous and therefore everything He does is right. He cannot be faulted because righteousness is found in the core of his being!

Righteousness also is a product of faith because it is revealed when faith is in operation (Rom 1:16). THERE WILL BE NO RIGHTEOUSNESS WHEN THERE IS NO FAITH. However, man lost righteousness through the fall and God wanted man restored and to do so, God has only option was to train man to walk in the path of righteousness – strictly by faith!

When God visited Abraham, man had degenerated far into disobedience (death) as evidenced by the fact that Abraham’s ancestors were idol worshippers (Assyrians) Deut. 26:4. Abraham however found mercy to journey with God into a kind of righteousness which actually is THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF A LIVING SOUL (1Cor. 15:45). Through Adam’s disobedience, man’s spirit (including that of Abraham and posterity) was not alive unto God, so God had to start by training his soul to attain a kind of righteousness that could earn him a blessing for the genealogy of mankind.

Abraham responded in faith (Gen 12:1), because he could never have pleased God of himself. As God was showing Abraham how He wanted to be pleased”, Abraham received grace to respond and righteousness was imputed (credited) to his account (Gal. 3:6). This same principle applies to us in the New Testament; it is also by faith – though a superior kind of God which was unveiled in Christ Jesus. At new birth, we believed in the Son of God and were quickened because righteousness was imputed to our human spirit (Eph. 2:1). Our spirit has been made the Righteousness of God (Rom. 8:10)

Although Abraham was commended for believing God (Rom 4:3), his journey did not end there. He went ahead to complete the full count of righteouness allocated for him and his seed to come. God placed a demand upon Him not only to BELIEVE but to take steps of OBEDIENCE (revealed righteousness – Rom. 1:16). Abraham was led along an unfamiliar path and as he hoped against hope, he demonstrated an unshakable trust in God.  HE OBEYED GOD THOUGH THAT WAS AN UNINTERESTING ADVENTURE TO HIS HUMAN FRAME. He obeyed God until he came to a place of oath. God ratified his earlier promise with an oath – i.e. two immutable thing (Heb. 6:17-18)

In Christ, that oath is fulfilled, and we are made partakers of the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Our righteousness in the New Testament is after the order of the quickening spirit, Christ Jesus (1Cor. 15:45). Thereby is our spirit born anew and fully clothed with that righteousness! The next programme is for our souls to LEARN THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS by OBEYING ITS PRINCIPLES so that we can be made PERFECT (QUICKENED) IN GOD’S JUDGMENT.

So when we believe Jesus and confess Him, His Righteousness is imputed to us (our spirit). But the whole essence of faith is for our souls to come into obedience (Rom. 16:26). FAITH THEREFORE BEGINS WITH BELIEVING BUT ENDS IN OBEDIENCE (Rom. 16:26d/). After God has imputed His righteousness in us, we are required to obey the principles of that righteousness which is an art of faith. IT IS ONE THING FOR US TO BE IN HIM AND ANOTHER THING FOR HIM TO BE FULLY FORMED IN US AS OUR VERY OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS - A RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT SHOULD BECOME PRIMARY PRINCIPLE BY WHICH WE LIVE. Here it is not just faith without my works, but faith demonstrated by walking in the path of righteousness.

So after our spirit has received God’s righteousness, it stands on that ground while the soul journeys into becoming the righteousness of God (Rom. 1:16). While on this adventuring to God, the soul gets to a place of obedience where it would be clothed with fine white linen, which is the righteousness of the saints (Rev. 19:8) . If we are unable to obey faith, we will not have the Righteousness of Jesus as personal experience or inheritance. Righteousness here is not attained by confession but by LOVING or WALKING in its path (Heb 1:9).

Blessings!

Urgent Vacancy For Men of The Future - Part 5

Dearly Beloved,

There are many reasons why we nod our heads in amazement of happenings around us, but there is only one of such we can share in common with the Lord Jesus; when we nod in response to the carnal/earthly state of the souls of believers. The answer to the following question(s) can help us ascertain if a believer is earthly-minded (carnal) or truth-minded (spiritual):

-       Is his attitude to GOD’S WILL likable to that of David or Saul?
-       Is his commitment to the issue of his spiritual inheritance (eternal salvation) likable to that of Jacob or Esau? Heb. 2:3/5:9
-       Is his response to the light (daily commandments) that heaven is beaming in his generation likable to that of Adam or Jesus?
-       Is he ready for the life-long-training of seeking to live by things-that-are-not-seen, or does he rather trust in his cerebral senses? 2Cor. 4:18
-       Is he journeying with a limited understanding or goal of making it to heaven (angel’s primary abode) or with a quickened understanding that should end him in the father (man’s primary abode)? Jn. 14:3
-       Is his lifestyle (use of time and resources) costly enough to give an interpretation of Christ’s faith and God’s Love to posterity, like we saw in Apostle Paul and John? Or, like it’s been the case with many believers, is it going to further veil men to these blessed experiences in God?

Every carnal believer who chooses to be sincere with God would know where he stands, and can begin by forsaking his unapproved rights – every righteousness that isn’t revealed by the father (Matt. 16:17/Rom. 1:17). The unfortunate life of the young rich ruler confirms that ANYTHING ELSE IS ACTUALLY COSTLIER!

The bible is the story of the soul! The human spirit died in Eden, was raised back after Christ’s resurrection, and even afterwards, it would always need the soul (the middle-man) to manifest the divine life that the Holy Spirit is routing through it. UNFORTUNATELY FOR THE WORLD, THE SUBJECT AND PHENOMENON THAT JESUS AND HIS HOLY APOSTLES DESCRIBED AS “THE SALVATION OF THE SOUL” CAN’T BE TAUGHT BY ANY ACADEMIC INSTITUTION ON EARTH BECAUSE IT ORIGINATED FROM GOD’S DEPTHS

The Lord desires that this syllabus would find its way into the curriculum of our bible schools and our churches and has therefore stepped up the voltage of light that should raise priestly apostles, priestly prophets, priestly evangelists, priestly pastors and priestly teachers with adequate eyes (judgements) to build God’s habitation  (Eph. 4:11-13)

We saw TWO TREES in Eden, but heaven awaits a company of men who will walk from believing to obedience (Rom. 10:16/16:26d/Heb. 5:9) and from THE EPISTLES to THE PARABLES OF JESUS. Their walk would expire that evil tree in Genesis 2:17 and leave only ONE TREE – the tree of life in Revelations 22:2, Glory!

The present perils and contradictions on earth, and the disorderliness within and without the church are but reactions and distractions to God's ongoing plan to corporately wrought salvation in men and through men (1Pet. 1:19/Rev. 12-10)

1Pet. 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Rev. 12:10 …Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ

The unimaginable pain of Rev. 21:4 which the Lord earnestly desires to spare us from, as He unveils The World of Truth is that of knowing we came so close to “BEING OWNED BY GOD” and “OWNING GOD" (Eph. 1:17a/Jn. 17:21-23/Rev. 21:3), but fell short of it, despite having the unfortunate examples of the young rich ruler and of the Jews.

The Lord is doing everything in His Glorious Power to establish believers with His Good LightFAITH, and His Perfect Light LOVE; such that should ultimately cause us to become heavenly citizens of the world to come (Rev. 21:1-2/10-11/23), rather than being earthly citizens in the world to come (Rev. 21:24). Selah!

Blessings!
