Things FROM God & Things OF God - Part 2

Dearly Beloved,

I was greatly encouraged when a colleague at work summarized part one of this series by saying “it sought to encourage believers to Seek Things That Are OF GOD and not just Seek Things That Are FROM GOD as preeminent in the church today! I trust the Lord to hereby build on this analysis and subsequently pay homage to why Words From God contained in the bible is different from the veiled meaning of the Word of God.

One of the greatest abuse among believers today is the use of the soul, i.e. the use of the mind and by extension, the heart. I see it daily and I personally trust the Lord to help me deal with every residual or unknown ways I fall short here because minds that would inherit the things OF GOD (inherit God) which are deep in nature (1Cor.2:10) cannot be used like the ‘average believer’ does today, see the early church! Many things despised by the-God-we-believe-in-but-do-not-know, have been highly esteemed by men (Lk. 16:15) and  hyped by the wisdom of fallen spirits and such legitimate things on the surface account for a large percentage of what we engage our minds in today. Selah 

The world has been feasted with ‘legitimate’ things that would perpetually keep our minds busy ‘beating the air’ (1Cor.9:26) and the question is ‘why are we preparing to learn of Things OF GOD when we get to heaven’? The epistles was written by resurrected minds so it hasn’t been reviewed or even easily understood till date, unlike books written by men! They used their minds in a very different way from you and I! I am trying to say that ‘It once took and still takes prisoners of Christ (Eph.3:1) to accurately understand Things That Are OF GOD and Only Such Souls Would Inherit God which takes place Before We Get To Heaven’! Many earthly advanced minds have invaded pulpits today and therefore can’t get the job of dealing with corruption in the souls of believers (2Pet.1:4).

Things OF GOD are not things present, so the destiny of believers are being shortchanged when ministrations they hear solely relate to their natural life! They are not things known to the intellectuals (the wise men) of this world (1Cor.20-21/27). They are things fabricated for the New Creation, not for the present Old Creation that is aging due to the effect of corruption on all created things, including man, and therefore everything that has interacted with corruption including the present heavens/earth would have to be rolled away (Heb.1:10-12). Eyes have neither seen them, nor ears heard them (1Cor 2:9)! Glorious angels that have been faithful to God for ages desire to see (i.e. understand) it, but it isn’t given to them (Heb.2:5/1Pet.1:12)! It was given to believers who unfortunately seek something else, low things like The American Dream, ephemeral things that can’t endure but pass away, things that lack the properties of Righteousness (1Pet.1:4)! Little wonder why another generation of believers are unconsciously despising The Revelations of Righteousness (Rom.1:16-17) that is primarily dispensed IN THE EPISTLES and not in THE INTRODUCTORY ASPECT of the Gospel i.e. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

2Cor5:17 ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is A New Creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (i.e. our recreated human spirit is a citizen of a new world that is yet to manifest and is seated with Christ in heavenly places, but the Soul needs to be thoroughly feed with Things OF GOD to attain/inherit the new creation state)

Things OF God are of the class of the throne of God, routed through New Testament revelations. They are BORN OF GOD (1Cor.2:7&10/1Jn.5:4) i.e. processed through what can be described as the ‘womb of the Godhead’ (Isa.46:3), and therefore emanate with a superior fabric than the angelic world (fallen or not) can comprehend. They are ‘forever and ever’ compliant (Heb. 1:8). They are things that Satan is clueless of and partaking of them would cause a believer to humiliate Satan and his cohorts like the Apostles of the lamb did and thereafter check into heaven glorious, as An Overcomer not like the thief on the cross! They are the inexhaustible, undefiled, incorruptible inheritance that can only be housed by THE SOUL, which makes it the most mysterious aspect of man (1Pet.1:4/9)!

1Jn. 5:4 For whatsoever is born OF GOD overcometh (is superior than Satan’s main invention i.e. corruption) the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

(i.e. the Faith of The New Testament is Born OF God and therefore different from the Faith Towards God exploits of Mk. 11:23/Heb.6:1-2/11:1-39a and is therefore superior/precious – 2Pet.1:1)

May we be a part of the remnant that the Lord is raising, those who would understand the perimeters of the Things OF God like men know and can skillfully analyze football today. Amen

You may agree with me that ‘the true meaning of most biblical quotations is beyond the prevalent interpretation that believers/the multitude give to it’. The following article was born out of a conversation with a colleague at work on why ‘NOT ALL WORDS IN THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD i.e. the bible contains Words From God (which many believers have accessed) and also The Word of God (which few believers and even ministers have discerned, which I am yet to comprehend, as I ought to, because they are highly revelational)

I’ll start by making reference to an understanding that can be culled from the two prepositions ‘OF’ & ‘FROM’.

There is a Wisdom From God. The Cherubs of the angelic realm have access to the highest form of this wisdom and the inverted state of this wisdom is what has caused Satan to reign for centuries. Adam and his Sons, the patriarch’s and Solomon accessed this wisdom in respective depreciating degrees. Pls see http://thispresenttruth.blogspot.com/2011/04/wisdom-according-to-solomon-apostle.html

There is a Wisdom Of God. Such was the wisdom packaged in the tree of life that Adam failed to eat, meant to make him wiser than Satan, but just like most generations of believers still do till date, Adam despised it because the part/process places strange demands on its recipients, the mandate to despise what we call ‘life’.

There is a Wisdom Of God. Such was the wisdom repackaged and revealed through Christ unto the Apostles for the true church. Such is the only spiritual technology that can dismantle the wiles/wisdom of Satan which the corporate church isn’t matured enough to handle till date!

There is a Faith From God. A selfless edition of this faith was what gave birth to the good reports (breakthroughs) enumerated in Heb. 11:1-39a. A self-entangled edition of this faith was the sole limitation of the Corinthian, the Hebrew and today’s church from going unto maturity/perfection, i.e. accessing the meat/strong meat of the New Testament. Heb. 5:12-13

There is a Faith From God. Such is the faith that opens the low degrees of God’s carnal/earth powers to meet man’s outward life (earthly/physical needs). This faith was designed as a foundation for the aspect of faith that builds man’s inward life (the unknown being called The Soul). This faith is limited because it can neither accurately discern The World nor overcome it. This faith can be operated by believers/unbelievers and is called Faith Towards God!

There is a Faith That Is Of God. This Faith is that would open up Heb. 11:39b, which I attempted to give illustrations of in part 1-24 of The Authoring of An Unfinished Faith available on 2011 archive in my blog http://thispresenttruth.blogspot.com . This is the Faith Christ used to Inherit God (not things like the first faith is primarily being used for today). This faith is the machinery that the Godhead uses to unwind the life we married when we loved the world and observed lying vanities. This faith is operated by Christ through a believer-made disciple-being-transformed-into-a-son and is called The Faith of The Son! Gal. 2:20

There is a Faith that is Of God. This faith is the only victory that overcomes, i.e. that is superior to the arrangement called The World –1 Jn. 5:1-5. This faith was born when the father walked in the Son (‘not walked with’ like He did with Noah). This faith is alien to Satan’s comprehension. This faith carries the life-exchanging-intelligence that enables a believer/minister to trade his life (the fleshy/carnal life) with the life/fellowship that resides with the Godhead (the divine life inaccessible to glorious angels till date) – 1 Jn. 1:1-3

There is a Righteousness From God. Such righteousness was unveiled unto old faithful’s and declared via their walk like we saw in Noah, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, the patriarchs, etc. Such righteousness could only bring a degree of pleasing to God because of the level of light available in such generations. By it, saints like Joshua and Elijah disobeyed natural/earthly laws and manifested God in ways that those who haven’t discerned The Righteousness That Is of Faith later revealed in Christ still covet.

There is the Righteousness Of God. This righteousness was what made God declare unto His Son that He was well-pleased (i.e. He hadn’t been pleased like that prior to then). Such was what Christ loved like men in my day love iniquity. Such righteousness is what makes the throne (the kingdom of God) rule over the heavens, including its glorious creatures we hardly know about as we ought to. Christ only fully officiated the ministry of righteousness after wearing his new name (The Lord our Righteousness-Jer. 23:6.) in fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophesy.

There are Separations/sanctifications that was From God. Such was what caused the priests to draw nigh unto God in the holy place and the high priest in the most holy place, once a year, while Moses could break this protocol in and out of season. Such was what limited the Sons of  Abiathar priesthood to only minister only unto the children of Israel (outer court) while the Sons of Zadok could minister to God in the (holy place) Eze. 40:46/44:15.

There is the sanctification/Separation Of the New Testament. This is what gave room for us to be called to partake of what Heb. 12:10 called “His Holiness” by which is far from what we know as holiness today and was designed to cause us to Draw Nigh Unto God – Heb. 7:19. This is the ministry where the Lord perfects the saints that they might inherit their new name/identity/authority, their New Testament inheritance in God - 2Pet.1:4/Eph.4:13/Rev. 2:17.

 

There Is A Power That Is From God. This power manifested through Genesis to Revelation and is carnal in nature (i.e. it can be sighted with the natural eyes & operates on this present earth). This is the power that reaches/heals the outward man on crusade grounds. This is the preeminent power in the church today. It rose Lazarus up from the dead but because it wasn’t God’s Eternal Power, Lazarus did not only die again but also didn’t attain the soul state/stature of the new creation! Such was the power used in creating the heaven/earth therefore they would pass away (Heb. 1:10-12) because they are The Products of His Hands (Isa. 66:1-2), not his face. Such powers are not glorious in the original definition of Glory!

There Is A Power That Is Of God. Such was the power that first found expression in hell where it came to raise the Son from the lowest pit to die no more (Ps. 88:4-10). This is the power that was described in the epistles with adjectives like Eternal, Glorious & Divine, because of the origin/design of this power – The Face of God. This is the power designed to raise the souls of believers (not unbelievers-Rom. 1:16) from earthly constitutions and prepare it to sit on the same throne the Son of God sat/sits. This power was housed in the Gospel (i.e. the aspect of the NT which Christ couldn’t declare on earth, but later declared through Holy Ghost/His Apostles.

In like manner, there are Words From God but There is The Word Of God! As the Spirit inspires, I hope to share the little I know on this subsequently, while the above treatise is only an introduction and not an exposition.

Behold, I Come To Send A Sword - Matt. 10:34

In the spirit of 1 Corinthians 2:13 (comparing spiritual with spiritual), the following article is put forward by comparing Matt. 10:34 with other scriptures:

Matt. 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Verses 35-39  beautifully explains the above scripture, beyond a literal view point:

·         Vs. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (The Lord was using the natural to drive home his message. He meant that the laws/life/nature he came to introduce would set its subjects (believers) at variance with all others, their fellows/closest ties)

·         Vs. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. (The enemies of a man lies within him, within the unsaved soul, in the carnal mind which is not subject to the law of God, which is enmity with God–Rom. 8:7. They are the foothold that Satan uses to promote his values)

·         Vs.37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me…. (beyond the logical interpretation i.e. we are called to love an unknown life Christ came to introduce to man, a life we must love beyond anything we previously loved, typified by parents and loved ones here, and to do that, we must despise every representative of the former life)

·         Vs.39 He that findeth (keepeth) his life shall lose it: and he that loseth (i.e. despises his initial love for) his life for my sake shall find it (shall find the real life Christ came to unveil, man’s true life – Eternal life).

This is the meat of the Lord’s Gist. To separate a believer from what he knows/calls My Life which was actually a life designed by God’s enemy through the tree of good & evil, the Lord has to introduce a spiritual operation to get this done. The Milk of the Word can’t terminate that live, which we inherited from ADAM. It takes the Meat of the Word which is the Word of Righteousness or the Sword of the Spirit to gradually terminate it. This is the Testimony of Jesus that made Overcomers out of the disciples-made-Apostles.

Heb. 4:12 For The Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any Two Edged Sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of Soul and Spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(The New Testament that can separate the soul/soulish life from the spirit/spiritual life. It can discern thoughts and intents because it is pregnant with the righteous judgments/eyes (Rev. 5:6) of the throne

When Christ succeeds in introducing this life (which in Rom. 1:1 was initially described as the Gospel of God, in Rom. 1:16 as –i.e. became- the Gospel of Christ and in Rom. 2:16 as –i.e. became- the Gospel of Paul) to a believer through the two-edged ministry of his Sword (Word), it would put such at variance with everything/almost everybody around. Believers would begin to think differently from other believers and there would be reactions (persecutions) from without, from fellow believers/unbelievers who still retain/defend the intelligence/passions of the former life.

WOULD GOD REST – PART 4

I finally found a clue to why believers unknowingly nurse shallow degrees of conviction and commitment to the Christian walk! There is a subtle deception/goal of at least making it to heaven (whether believers understand the implication of getting there with a far superior soul state than that of the thief or not) and this is one of the reasons why the reign of sin & death has gone unconfronted. The Kingdom of Heaven has therefore been starved of Sons, Overcomers, Trees of Righteousness, by virtue of believers  who remain in the soul state/stature of children, Seeds of Righteousness. Matt. 13:24/Gal. 3:16/Isa. 61:3

It may interest you to know that the human spirit was begotten into the Kingdom at new birth but the Soul was only adopted by the initial sprinkling and washing of water by the word. (Eph. 5:26) God therefore a holy calling upon the soul to press and enter into the kingdom and this was premised on the condition of being stripped of the carnal mind (nature) which we all bear in varying degrees! 

The soul didn’t have the capacity to discern the Kingdom when the human spirit got born again because God tied that gracious aspect/experience to A Qualitative Walk in the Spirit. We therefore can only attain Spiritual Discernment by acquiring age in the Spirit, so that the great high priest of the profession of Faith (Christ Jesus) can gradually dispense volts of revelation knowledge into our souls and we can then be graced to graduate in Knowing The Father/Partaking of His Divine Nature and Inheriting Eternal Life, glory!

So, what Jn. 3:3-4  was therefore implying was that the calling and potential to See (Jn. 3:3) the kingdom was only given to the soul at new birth while our regenerated Spirit was already manifesting the graces of the kingdom by sitting together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus! (Eph. 2:6) . Our soul is yet to seat because it is yet to partake of the glorious meals of the New Testament! You and I earnestly need to be born of water and spirit (the second birth by the incorruptible seed pertaining to the soul- (1 Pet. 1:23) whereby carnal laws we inherited when we (and as long as we love the world) would be replaced with the Laws of the Spirit of Life resident in Christ (Rom. 8:2) to enable us ultimately enter the kingdom before we ‘fall asleep’ (drop our earthly suit).

1 Pet. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again (i.e. different from Jn. 3:3 because it pertains to the Soul) unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

The kingdom has its interaction, its separation. Nicodemos and many wanted to see it like they saw the Davidic or Solomon’s kingdom but ‘fortunately’, it has been zoomed into the another plane. It has a path, a way and believers/ministers would need an entrance ministered unto them by continuously fulfilling 2Pet. 3-10.

2 Pet 1:11 For SO (i.e. conditional, after fulfilling vs. 3-10) an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom (not just making it to heaven which carnal believers do but going there with the kind of gold soul state of the Apostles) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We would see in subsequent series, why the first born again experience (initial faith) and the initial years surrounding it only makes a believer a seed of the kingdom and why many go to heaven as seed not trees of righteousness after much Christian activities/professing.

The Despised Gospel of Death

The whole Gospel of John is condensed in the book of Romans 1:16. There is a Gospel of death, which people don’t preach again because it brings men to the place of death (dying to self that that Christ may live indeed). There is the written Gospel, there is the spoken Gospel but by and by there is the living Gospel. The living Gospel is for the total Salvation of man.

When men are dead, it gives God a chance to work. That’s why Jesus was glad on hearing of the death of Lazarus in John11:14. There seems to be a contradiction here. In Jn. 11:4, Jesus said Lazarus sickness was not unto death and later said plainly that he was dead in verse 14. We must come into the next level of the Gospel which is contradiction, a place where men don’t understand what is going on.

If you have not come into the Gospel of contradiction you might not understand what God is doing at the end of the day. Whenever God allows a contradiction to come into your life watch it, he is calling you into another level of the Gospel which will eventually cause you to grow in Him.

Consider Moses in Egypt who felt that to kill an Egyptian was the right thing to do. This was a contradiction but God used it to work out something in him, to bring him to another level. He fled Egypt and ran into the wilderness and became a Shepherd. It was there that God brought him into the level of being a sheep - where he was dumb, like a sheep unlike the eloquent man he was in Egypt. God brought him to the point where he could hear the voice of the Shepherd. He then took him to the next level at the burning bush, God called him and then he was able to hear the voice of God... (I’m not ashamed of the Gospel)...That God called you does not mean that everything is okay with you. God also called Moses too but it did not mean that everything was okay with him.

In John 11:25, Jesus said to Martha, “Your brother will rise again.” When Jesus arrived at the scene, the written word and spoken word became alive. Martha knew only the written word (John11:24) but it was only when Jesus showed up that the written and spoken word was revealed to her as the living word.

The Gospel of death comes first after which comes the Gospel of Resurrection (John.11:24-26). The only way to live is to die. Jesus stayed for four days for Lazarus to die and begin to smell. We must not only ‘die’ to self but also ‘smell’, not physically but by losing our Soulish life which remains an abode for the worldly good/affiliations. This is the way the soul journeys into the Spirit.

From 1965 I’ve been enjoying the Gospel of love though I was sick in my soul but in 1983 God brought me into the next level which is the Gospel of death as seen in Colossians 3: 3. “For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God”. To die is not easy, but we must go through it every day. After these experiences I began to experience some changes in my life, and I began to search for people who had similar experiences until my daughter in the lord told me of his servant in this vineyard, Rev. Kayode Oyegoke.

This life is real, but it has a price to be paid. This is my joy that I die daily.

This is what I always tell God, ”there is something that is always bothering me, and I know it is real but I can’t seem to reach it. I know there is something, I heard of Enoch and Elijah who were both born of women but Lord can I taste the death that will give me a better resurrection?” If an evil spirit can possess a man to do extraordinary things how much more when the Spirit of the Living God possesses a man? Lord that I may be so possessed by you. The truth really is this; I’ve not done anything, or will do anything in this life other than to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and if there is any other work, please count me out.

So Jesus cried out to Martha “...Do you believe this?” (John11: 26). I am not ashamed of the Gospel with all its contradictions; I count everything but dung for the excellence of winning Christ.

The Glory of this Gospel is incomprehensible; it is from one level to another, whenever you see contradictions in your life just know that God is up to raising you to another level. Death is inevitable, it a simple thing once you understand it.
