The Authoring of An Unfinished Faith – Part 9

Beloved,

I realize that many have an insufficient idea of what God is really asking His saints. Like an employer would hardly ever agree to share his employee with another employer and like a sincere wife would hardly ever agree to share her husband with any other woman, so also the lord God will not share the soul of any believer! Satan knows the value of the soul much more than many and that is why he would stake the World for it (Mark 8:36) which gives rise to some salient questions like:

·         What really is The World and how does it get men spotted without them discerning it for decades?

·         Why did the Lord Jesus and His Holy Apostles have to appraise themselves before departing to heaven as having Overcome The World with a particular kind of Faith? Jn. 14:30/1 Jn. 5:4

·              Why did they track and brand as Wicked, the wisdom of the world that once Crept into the Church during their days but is now Celebrated in some cycles of Churches? Jude 1:4/Jn. 2:26/5:19/Gal. 1:4

·         What insightful knowledge did Apostle John have about the World that made him summarize its three fold operation as The Lust of The Eyes, The Lust of the flesh and The Pride of Life? 1 Jn. 2:16

Human language and vocabulary has always been very limited in explaining spiritual issues, but I can deduce from the epistles that:

·         The World is anything traceable to the enticing tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, i.e. any wisdom not traceable to the Tree of Life which Adam failed to eat, but later raised in Christ Jesus. Gen. 2:9/Jn. 6:53/2 Tim. 4:10

·         The World is an enlightenment (a light called darkness) that makes men self-sufficient and falsely fulfilled without God. Matt. 6:23/2 Cor. 11:14/Jn. 3:19

·         The World is that which Satan presented on a platter of gold to Jesus in the wilderness as Lusts of the Flesh/Eyes and the Pride of Life, the same glories he has sold to everyman that have ever seen the sun from Adam to infants today, while the only few who have escaped this snare did so to the degree in which they submitted to the Leading of The Spirit. Matt. 4:1-10/1 Cor. 12:2/Rom. 8:14

·         The World is that subtly packaged Hope that drives both men of High and Low degree. Ps.2:9

·           The World is the fruit of a perverted Cherubic Wisdom of Satan which we can only defeat when we attain spiritual Wisdom (Trees of Righteousness) Isa. 61:3/Lk. 2:52/1 Jn. 3:2

·         The world was the wisdom used by Satan in building the Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and Priest into religious structures of unbelief that veiled many from ever knowing the New and Living Way. Mark 6:6/Heb. 10:20

·         The World was the intelligence employed by the likes of Nimrod in crafting an alternative path/civilization that stifled the Life of Faith and thereafter moved a generation of Souls from the sight of Ararat where they earlier drew inspirations of God from where Noah’s Ark rested unto Shinar where he built kingdoms like Babel. Gen. 10:9-10

·         The World is a weight that daily influences men to despise God’s kind of life (ZOE) through lustful choices made when we gratify the cares of life (BIOS).

·         The World is that school master that instructs men in the Art of Compromise, making men to trade Things to Come (Spiritual/Eternal) for Things Present (Carnal/Ephemeral). Mark 8:36/Heb. 11:20/12:16

·         The World is that which may sometimes fail to stop an unbeliever from the new birth experience but would fight such tenaciously from growing FROM FAITH TO FAITH via Doctrines of men, philosophies and traditions of men, all skillfully used to turn many away from truth/sound doctrine unto fables. Matt. 15:6/Col. 2:8/Col. 2:22/2 Tim. 4:3-4

·         The world is that which keeps men busy with religious activities that can’t reveal Christ, leaving believers with stunted spiritual growth and the gates of hell unperturbed.

·         The World is that which fights Christians either with ease or lustful ambitions after making them assume that they have sighted and entered the Kingdom at new birth when only their human spirit did and their souls was only granted the potential to do so after obeying faith. Jn. 3:3/3:5/2 Pet. 1:11/Rom. 1:5/Heb. 5:9

·         The World is Satan’s boast, having scented everything that perishes with use with lusts.

·         The World is that which a true preacher of the Gospel would passionately and skilfully confront like the Apostles did, while preparing the flock for true holiness and righteousness Acts 20:28/Eph. 4:24

·        The World was the wisdom which Christ judged on the cross via the Wisdom of Meekness, via the foolishness of God that is wiser than all the wisdom of men. Jn. 16:33/James 3:13/1 Cor. 1:25

·        Before the unveiling of the beast (the man of Sin) the World would remain Satan's the greatest weapon to steal, kill and destroy the souls of men. (Jn. 10:10/Rev. 17)

·         The World is that which can ONLY be discerned after we have fulfilled the Faith and Love precepts (Eph. 1:15) and after the Eyes of Our Understanding has been Enlightened. Eph. 1:17-18

This list is endless! As the population of the earth have been on the increase, so also have the victims of The World’s Wisdom been on the increase

-      With all the increase in the Military/Scientific/Economic might of Nations today, there have also been an increase in confusion! Creation have been groaning for a deliverance from the bondage of the corruption (The World) and this can only take place by the Manifestation of The Sons of God! Rom. 8:19

We need to be raised, built, established and this can’t take place by The Faith provisions of the Milk of The Word but by The Faith provisions of The Meat of The Word, i.e. by The FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD! (Heb. 6:1-3/5:12-14/Gal. 2:20/Acts 26:18

The True Church (individually and corporately) must therefore walk from Faith to Faith (i.e. from the hearing to the receiving of the end of faith, the salvation of our souls), because thereby would we complete our obedience and commit God to avenge every disobedience that can be traced to the 1^st Adam/fall of man. (Rom. 10:17/Rom. 1:16/1Pet.1:9)

Then would we bear the image of the heavenly like we once bore the image of the earthly and we would encounter a Superior Wisdom ordained from the foundation of the world, hidden in the face of Christ, destined to raise Sons!

Then would God judge unrighteousness which has been fostered by this World, close this age and summon the New Heaven and Earth wherein Righteousness dwelleth. 2 Cor. 3:18/Eccl. 1:16/1 Cor. 1:21/2:7/Eph. 3:10/2 Pet. 3:10-13

The Authoring of An Unfinished Faith - Part 8

Dearly Beloved,

-          There is a Gospel that must not be ignored, which was specially committed to Apostle Paul and documented in about two-third of the entire New Testament.

• That Gospel had substances that would ESTABLISH those who have received the initial Faith-Foundation of The Sincere Milk of The Word (1Pet. 2:2).
• That Gospel contained everlasting commandments of how to OBEY THE DEEPER ASPECT OF FAITH and it is pregnant with divine materials that could build Saints with wisdom that is superior to that which Lucifer used in weaving this world!
• An Old Testament edition of this Gospel was what separated some Hebrew chapter 11 old faithful unto God, causing it to be declared concerning them that “the world wasn't worthy of them”, because of the state/stature that their souls attained after being exposed to it! Heb. 11:36-38
• -          That Gospel is the spiritual mechanism that would move us from BELIEVING IN THE GOSPEL unto OBEYING THE GOSPEL = Rom. 16:25-26

Rom. 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to ESTABLISH you according to MY GOSPEL, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the OBEDIENCE OF FAITH

Rom. 1:5 By whom we have received Grace and Apostleship, for Obedience To The Faith among all nations (i.e. all Souls)

(Pls note that Faith here is not Faith Towards God described in Heb. 6:1) but A Refined Edition of Faith that can discern and subdue The Wisdom of This World/vanity)

• The Lord Jesus knew that believers would be faced with the challenge of journeying against The Gravity of The Carnal Nature, so he graced his Apostles to discern the faith he used to beat the devil hands down, a faith that would enable them deal with the fallen state of Satan’s Wisdom and such was THE FAITH THAT RESIDES IN GOD

• The Lord knew that many believers who won’t discern that the born again experience can’t deal with the blindness of hearts and minds that came upon mankind through Adam, so he ordained the Faith Provision in Eph. 1:15 to bring the saints into the Love Provision in Eph. 1:15b after which they would qualify for an encounter with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation Eph. 1:17-18 that would open them up to the first course of Spiritual Knowledge, which is the Knowledge of God

• The Lord knew that without this Ephesian 1:17-18 experience, believers would ultimately ‘make it to heaven’ but would fall short of ‘inheriting the kingdom’, i.e. inheriting him and reigning with him in the world to come.

Rom. 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to MY GOSPEL.

Generations of believers are yet to discern the precept upon precept faith instructions in Ephesian chapter 1 and proceed to other chapters which can’t be unlocked unless we access/take root in its counsels. The entire New/Old Testament books would remain a ‘closed book’ if the verses from Eph. 1:1-1:23 isn’t unlocked and we need to yearn for mercy here. This is where our Spiritual eyes would be opened to the realm of the Spirit/the epistles.

Acts 26:18 …to Open Their Eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God (No wonder Paul raised converts like Timothy who attained Sonship also)

Lk. 4:18 ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and RECOVERING OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND…

(This is what Eph. 1:17/18 & Acts 26:18 was making reference to, and this is where the church is lacking. WE NEED NEW TESTAMENT REVELATIONAL TEACHINGS TO DO JUSTICE TO THIS DIRE NEED)

You may therefore agree with me that Apostle Paul could only speak unto such Churches/saints As Unto Spiritual (1Cor. 3:1), as unto matured ones (1 Cor. 2:6) after Eph. 1:15/17-18 had been fulfilled which was the legal ground for them up be opened up to higher faith transactions in the Spirit.

Such Deeper Faith Realm is where we would be empowered to graciously lay down our carnal life (daily to self) and be prepared to inherit The Hidden Wisdom of God ordained for The Glory of The True Church (1Cor. 2:7b/Eph. 3.10).  this is how fallen spirits would respect us

Satan’s greatest fear has been the pending Enlightenment of Believer’s Spiritual Eyes, because through it, they would go from ‘Faith to Faith’ and the pillars of ignorance that has kept Satan up in the air since Adam’s fall would ultimately be hewn down! (Isa. 14:12/15-17)

May The Blessed Church of Christ, corporately find Great Mercy and Grace to encounter The Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation needed to unveil the Knowledge of Christ to us, Amen!

Dearly Beloved,

I realize that one of the major challenges before The Church of Christ is to HALT EVERY OTHER RAT RACE INDUCED BY THE WORLD through the preaching of a True/Balanced Gospel. Then would we see the distinction between unbelievers/carnal believers (who primarily ‘seek things present’) and Christians (called to ‘seek things above’)

Heb. 11:8 ‘By Faith (i.e. Beginning of His Walk/Faith) Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance (i.e. End of His Walk/Faith), obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went’.

We can see that the Faith that the apostles came into was neither the initial kind of ‘Faith Towards God’ which was described as ‘Faith in The Lord Jesus’ to churches in Ephesus and Colosse (Eph. 1:15/Col. 1:4), but rather, Christ’s Own Kind Of Faith that would make a believer beat every scheme of the enemy hands down

2 Cor. 6:17-18 ‘Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you and will be a Father unto you and ye shall be my sons and daughters saith the Lord Almighty.

(This is a promise that would be delivered by the revelational Face Ministry of Christ and not the Ministry of His Hands where we can get miracles)

You may therefore agree with me that the Faith Father Abraham used to lay down Isaac on Mount Moriah was Faith according to Knowledge and not the initial Faith according to Believing which we he used to believe God for a child and to increase in silver and Gold! It was a type of God’s Faith at work in Him that made him Know Isaac would be raised from the dead by resurrection power!

Such faith so pleased God that he began a lineage in the Spirit through him, of those who would come into their spiritual inheritance, making you and I become Abraham’s seed meant to grow into ‘Trees of Righteousness’ and this can only take place when we change meals from The Milk to The Meat of God’s Word, from one kind of faith to another!

Like Joshua and Caleb, we must with a ‘different spirit/finishing faith’ press into our promised land which in the New Testament is a Spiritual/Eternal Inheritance in heavenly Places in Christ Jesus! Eph. 1:3

Dearly Beloved,

Our Lord Jesus faced a great challenge that preachers face today. He had an audience who weren’t growing in Wisdom (in The Spirit) as they grew in stature (in the natural - Lk. 2:52). Therefore remained shallow in spiritual understanding without the exception of the Lord’s disciples who could hardly interpret every inspired word Christ Spoke

It may therefore interest you to know that many of the exciting faith messages of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John where we easily relate with God’s Promises for The Natural Life has to do with The Beginning or Foundation of Faith!

The Lord started out by promoting an aspect of Faith (Faith Towards God) via Carnal Ministrations, i.e. via messages that men could carnally or physically relate with. He had to leave the aspect of unveiling Spiritual Ministrations (i.e. spiritual promise hidden in the Parables) to the apostles who later broke down his parables into counsels that would Build Us Unto The End of Faith (1Pet. 1:9)  

Jn. 3:12 ‘If I have told you Earthly Things (i.e. things that take place on earth including new birth), and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of Heavenly Things (i.e. things that take place in heavenly/spiritual places which we meant to fellowship with while on earth, things that glorious angels desire to know but can’t because its only given to man – 1Pet. 1:12/Heb. 2:6)?

Jn. 16:12 ‘I have yet MANY THINGS to say unto you, but ye cannot BEAR them now’ (i.e. things pertaining truth which must be unveiled by the Holy Spirit)

The kind of Faith that Christ was promoting in the synoptic gospels like in Matt. 11:29 was one which believers could relate with from spiritual Childhood unto Teenage years, but this certainly can’t take us into Adulthood (i.e. spiritual maturity/Sonship).

Young believers in the early years of the Christian faith are mainly faced with Mountains/natural Problems and there is a recipe of faith that empowers them to overcome such challenges. This recipe is a Faith is found in The Milk of God’s Word, an elementary or foundational aspect of the principles/doctrines of Christ, please see Heb. 6:1-2

Mark 11:23 ….that whosoever shall say unto This Mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

So, with all the manifestation of gifts of the Spirit that made believers in the Corinthian Church prosper outwardly, the intelligence of sin still hold them captive, because sin was spiritual and it takes a transformed/spiritual soul to overcome it. They were therefore at the mercy of receiving a more spiritual meal which was a faith described as “THE FAITH OF THE SON”

This is why:

-         John’s testimony in 1Jn. 1:1 was that a saint who started initially with the Beginner Courses of Faith but was later weaned from it and built by the Faith of The Son to an extent that his soul could laid hold of very Thronic life resident in God which our recreated Human Spirit partook of at New Birth!

-     Apostles Paul had to prepare the Ephesian and Colossian churches for a deeper Faith through ministrations that reveal Christ after they cooperated with the necessary initial faith weaning process. This was the legal ground for Paul to pray to the Father to ‘Open The Eyes of Their Heart’ (Eph. 1:17-18)

The same God that has been christened ‘Jehovah Sharp Sharp/Jehovah Now Now’ in my generation is the same God that kept Father Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Zachariah, Hannah, Mary e.t.c. waiting for decades, all because He actually wanted to give them something beyond the natural, something beyond what the ‘average Christian’ would celebrate as ‘breakthrough’.

You may therefore agree with me that ‘There is a Faith that would Build or lead unto Perfection! When The Church is United in this Faith, believers would attain a spiritual stature that can ‘House The Father & The Son’ (Jn. 14:21/23) like we ‘Housed the Spirit’ (Jn. 14:16) when we got born again. Until then, there would be no clear distinction between what a believer and an unbeliever seeks!

If not You, WHO? If not Now, WHEN? If not Here, WHERE?

The Authoring of an 'Unfinished Faith'! - Part 5

Dearly Beloved,

Once upon a time, a kind of Knowledge reigned in the days of saints like Job. By that Knowledge, they:

1. Fetched deep words from afar and gave illustrations of the righteousness of his maker. (Job 36:3)
2. Guarded jealously ‘The Redemption of their soul’ from the corruption faced by every generation. (Job 19:25)
3. Appreciated in the volume of ‘the life of God’ resident in his Soul, like we saw in Job who prompted God to boast about him as A True Servant!
4. Fought to reconcile the expectations of Heaven with that of the earth and attempted to close the spiritual gap between both.
5. Wore-out Satan through their patience and longsuffering which therefore caused their Souls to attain a state like unto Gold. 

The book of Job was therefore an account of the initiation into SONSHIP/PRIESTHOOD and his was a high dimension of ‘Faith Towards God’ which Christ referred to when he said ‘would I find Faith on earth when I come’? Lk. 18:8

So, Christ was asking future generations of Christians to come if:

They would embrace the purpose of the New Testament which is meant to graduate Believers from being Children of God into becoming Sons of God ‘Knowers’? 1 Jn. 3:2 

1. They would seek their Spiritual Inheritance hidden in Ivory Palaces as described by David (Ps. 45:8) and by Apostle Paul as Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus (Eph. 1:3). Christ is he, whom we must seek While He May Be Found? Isa. 55:6/Heb. 12:17/Col. 3:2
2. He would succeed in resurrecting a much more supernatural lifestyle like he did with Men of Like Passion’? Acts 14:15/Jam. 5:17
3. They would open up to other higher aspects of Faith Meals packaged in the epistles for the ‘Salvation of The Soul’ or if they would despise this order of faith because of a secret Love For This Present World? 2 Tim 4:10
4. They would be at ease and neglect ‘So Great A Salvation’ (Heb. 2:3) which every believer must sincerely lay down his life to experience or partake of. Jn. 13:37-38/1 Jn. 3:16

Scriptural references:

Lk. 18:8 “….. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, SHALL HE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH?

(i.e. Faith here is not Faith Towards God that opens the miraculous but rather, the actual Faith of God/The Son)

Job 23:10 ‘But he knows the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as Gold.”

Isa. 13:12 “I will make a man (i.e. soul) more precious than fine Gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.”

2 Tim. 1:12 “..For I KNOW (i.e. Faith according to Knowledge when the Eyes of the Heart has been Enlightened) whom I have believed (Faith according to Believing), and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him, i.e. keep/Save his Soul to the uttermost - Heb. 7:25

So, a large portion of Genesis to Revelation accounts for the broadcast of both Spiritual Life and Spiritual Death from the Souls of men as the Flow of Life from the Human Spirit had earlier ceased in Adam and was only restored in Christ Jesus at resurrection. While the likes of Saul, Esau and Demas experienced a great depreciation of God’s Life because of what they sought, believers like David kept appreciating in the degree of spiritual Life in their Souls! We can therefore see that the Soul of man is at the Mercy of Seeking God FOR GOD and not Seeking God FOR THINGS as has been the case in this generation of ours.

When we SEEK GOD FOR GOD, the Life of God journeys through our soul into our physical bodies and quicken it to the degree of life inherited by our Soul! The New Birth brought about the resurrection of our Human Spirit so it could function seamlessly with the Spirit of God in bringing to pass God’s Purpose for The Soul which should fulfill His mysterious will.

Rom 8:11 “But if (conditional) the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that Raised Up Christ from the dead shall also Quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwell in you

(i.e. The Giving of Life to the Body via Resurrection Power is superior to Healing via Gifts of The Spirit)

Eph. 1:13-14 “…after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession i.e. the soul”

(This is an unfulfilled promise relating to the Soul not the human spirit/body)

So the New Testament primarily has to do with The Deep Things of God which is not physical or carnal but spiritual/eternal and such things cannot be sought by the dimension of Faith we use to claim God’s promises regarding our natural life. Why? Because the Soul State of such a seeker CANNOT appreciate/discern Spiritual Things that are unseen, just like Esau who though a Hebrew, couldn’t discern the value of his birthright/eternal inheritance! As a hunter, he was used to satisfying his belly/carnal appetite while Isaac Identified With The Dimension of Faith That Could Esteem/Discern An Unseen Spiritual Inheritance.

1 Cor. 2:14 “But the natural man receives not The Things of The Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually Discerned”

(Please note Paul was writing to believers and the natural man refers to the carnal/earthly mind of either a believer or an unbeliever)

The coming of A GLORIOUS CHURCH would therefore be the response of a generation of saints that would press and obtain the New Testament Spiritual Inheritance/Promises located in the glorified person called Christ Jesus!

With this understanding;

-   We would appreciate why Christ said ‘A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.

-   We would then understand what the young rich ruler actually lost out in, despite his earthly influence!

-   We would also understand why Christ had to take the lowly/meek path described as ‘POVERTY as a gateway to making many RICH TOWARDS GOD. 2 cor. 6:10.

-   We would then comprehend that the use of the word ‘things’ in 1 Cor. 2:9 amongst others, are actually ‘the divine things of God’ which could only be accessed by the company called FEW who press towards The End of The Faith, The Salvation of Our Souls. 1 Pet. 1:9

May I therefore submit that it takes purely spiritual meals and experiences, which are becoming scarce today due to the increasing demand for Ministrations surrounding Things Present/Things That Perish With Its Use. Ministrations that reveal Christ are such that would mature us in ‘Better Things to Come’ that have to do with the End of Faith.

Heb. 6:9 ‘But, beloved, we are persuaded Better Things of You, and Things That Accompany Salvation, though we thus speak

Heb 5:10-11 ‘… Called of God a High Priest…of whom we have many THINGS to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

(i.e. THINGS here were after the order of ‘The Faith of The Son’ and not after the initial ‘Faith Towards God’ which the Hebrew Church was accustomed to)

We must not repeat the history of Esau who despised an Unseen inheritance because of a ‘legitimate’ meal/Carnal Need and later sought it with tears to no avail! We all have what represents a Morsel Of Bread and it takes the life voltage of ‘The Faith of The Son’ to deal with it.

This faith is the thrust of the New Testament! Unbelievers enjoy a particular kind of rain/natural graces but there is a Rain of Righteousness that produces True Riches.

Matt. 5:45 “.For he makes His Sun to rise on the evil & on The Good, & sends Rain on The Just and on The Unjust
