Watchers or Picnickers?

Dear Saints,

We thank the Lord for the relatively peaceful elections and the emergence of a new candidate

God is longsuffering, and doesn't live in time. He understands our plight much more than we do and has borne with us. He no doubt had an agenda for the current president/administration, a thorough agenda meant to run over time; one that should have not just brought much more "reprieve/dividends of civilization" the way of many, but much more importantly, lay a FOUNDATION for a New Nigeria.

My understanding is that, in the last couple of years, we should have come into something as a nation, just like America did decades back and fetched a right foundation that addressed fundamentals and flaws in the polity. This is a dire need, which some nation builders have expressed as a concern that “the Change team” was yet to consider as grave. Wasted years must be addressed.

If we have fallen short of such prescription/provision of heaven, which the devil fought with the slumber and stupor of this administration, we better prepare to watch and pray like we never would have with the incumbent. My prayers is that, such “unsought” dimension (that I hardly know in part): which is meant to address our unseen  foundational issues, limit the actual enemies/rebel holders over the nation and also complement the course and prosperity of the gospel, would find its way through the prayers of the saints - into the hearts and minds of the forthcoming leadership.

Let's not relax and "observe the wind". In all things, we give thanks to God, but we would not act as though we are ignorant of the devils devices - many of which he might be able to use more effectively in the forthcoming dispensation – if the church continues with picnicking.

Of a truth, some sustained engagements with heaven has to take place to prevail in the Spirit, so that our forthcoming president/administration would find the mercies/grace needed to secure heaven’s authority/resources and occupy that seat indeed. Otherwise, the church would be really humbled. Like a vessel of God reiterated yesterday, “if there is anytime believers need to wake up and KEEP A WATCH/PRAY, IT IS NOW!

THE CHALLENGE BEFORE US IS TO SEEK UNSOUGHT MERCIES CONCERNING NIGERIA, BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE A CLEAR ESTIMATE AS WE OUGHT. THERE IS A VACANCY IN THE SPIRIT FOR TRUE WATCHERS/WATCHMEN. MAY I/WE QUALIFY TO BE ONE OF SUCH, SO THE HORN OF THE GOSPEL KEEPS BEING EXALTED.

On your walls, O Nigeria, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Nigeria a praise in the earth.…(Isa 62: 6-7 paraphrased)

FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL, GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

Amen
